THE FLYING EXPERIENCE
We have organized two flight training workshops to selected students in early 2018 (18 Jan, 1 Feb). We also held a STEM booth on 9 Feb thanks to the support provided by the HKACC to promote flying in our school. The Team officially launched in February 2018. 15 Students joined as our first batch of members and a weekly elite team training is held based on the school-based curriculum.
MISSION AHEAD
We continue to explore new ideas to keep The Team vibrant and exciting. These include integration of more sophisticated hardware (e.g., VR) or partnering with other schools and the HKACC. We are also looking into cooperation with private airline companies to provide professional training to selected members. Our ultimate goal is to promote the passion and interest in science and aviation to more students. Once their curiosity is sparked, they will certainly learn much more. We hope to nurture enthusiasts in this area, and we hope to see some of our members becoming future leaders in the industry one day.
