THE NEW MULTI-MEDIA STUDIO IN LAWS
Extensive Multimedia Learning Exposure in the Studio
The new multi-media studio brings emergent technologies into learning and teaching in STEM education, serving as a hub to explore Virtual Reality (VR) and the Internet of Things (IoT). The studio provides a “platform” for students to work together to design and develop e-learning and STEM resources.

INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING
Inquiry-based Learning has been adopted to facilitate students in learning how ideas can be transformed into formalized understanding and further questioning. Most importantly is students' curiosity towards open-ended investigations into a question or a problem which require them to engage in evidence-based reasoning and creative problem-solving, as well as problem finding.
Underlying this approach, both teachers and students share the collective cognitive responsibility for the advancement of knowledge. In this regard, the direction of development of inquiry-based learning in our department that is supported by the effective strategies for motivating students towards self directed learning. This collective cognitive responsibility for the advancement of knowledge has cultivated a passion for deeper learning inside and beyond the classroom by means of curiosity and passion, facilitating them to express their creativity through the cultivation of positive relationships among the students and the teachers.
